Well...
...here it is.
I recieved this [ahem] ancient journal cover from a LT Danebuam. He could never remember where he got it, and obviously couldn't take it with him where he is going - so I ended up with it. It was falling apart, and around here we have the ability to rebuild it as it where.
Alot of people are interested in it - and what the scene on the cover actually means.
I found it fasinateing - espescially the man in the "lighting bolted" arch.
So - I present it to you truth diggers in an effort to diverge a little from the disclosure pounding bloggs I tend to do.
Oddily enough, Eygptian motiff's, Saturn, and the local town my POST happens to be in - all tie together...
So - comment away on what going on - feel free to downlaod the image and doodle on it and then send it back to me via email - located on the right - and once we get it all figured out - I'll post the outcome.
Also - I have added to new ga-jets. A search function for the blogg and comements (love to post the old stuff) and a "followers" thing-a-ma-job. Over the course of teh weekend we will see how that works out.

What strikes me is the intricate decoration around the border. Wonderful craftmanship.
At first glance it looks like a repetitive leaf design, but on closer inspection it seems to have subtle variations, little faces, and some arabic numerals. Weird.

The larger man and woman seem to be pharoahs (king and queen) as they are depicted in pharonic head-dress and are each carrying the sacred ankh.
But then I'm not an egyptologist.
The guy in the bird head could be Horace.

The scales is important. The proportions.
Man is 'empowered' and cultivated through a cascade of two arcs from 'on high'. The primary contact being the 'right one'...the bird being or bird brain..or eagle entity.
One can see the scales of size, as they are again overseen by two other's of even larger stature and symbolic seniority.

The little guy in the archway is either getting annointed by some kind of sacred oil or oinkment, or he's getting beat over the head by some enormous Turkey drumsticks.
Hmmm, at first glance, it appears it may be Isis and Horus, creating Ra, then Sun God; the only "Son of God". Will have to delve deep into this when time permits.

Possibly the figure in the middle with lightning bolts shielding him could be Zeus.
Perhaps the journal had Info/Power/Enlightenment to be passed down from the elders.
Could a better scan be acquired?
So I sent an email to a faculty member at the American University @ Cairo. Here is her response:
What ever this is, it is a depiction using ancient Egyptian motifs but it is not ancient Egyptian. It is based on the depiction of the coronation of pharaoh--the figure in the center having libations poured over him by the two gods--they are supposed to be Thoth and Horus. They are not shown correctly, nor are the other two figures on the sides, supposed to a king and queen,(who wouldn't actually be shown in this type of scene) and the hierogyphs are not correct and some of the signs aren't even hieroglyphs. While the old book depicts a seemingly Egyptian Scene, I wonder if that is not exactly its point(trying to be actual).
Take for example the 'Michigan Artifacts' found in the 1800's. Their story depicted is the value, somewhat more so than the efforts to authenticate.
The story of the physical of has been shown to derive from the root of 'Phi cycles'(phy.sical).
Perhaps Sword, the image on the cover is depicting the human form and the basics of the guidance or shepherding?
The 'Keys of Enoch' speak at length about the Adam Kadmon ,much like the Vitruvius Man, being an archetypal form. A blueprint whereby there are forms of the human being that manifest at higher karmic progressions, and are in heights of varying size greater than we currently are. Without checking back, I recall from about 12' to 55' tall.
Phi is the Divine Wave, the Golden Mean, The Grail Cup sine wave. It cascades and has infinite scalability.
Perhaps, this image is storyboarding and shows the levels of humanity and the leadership 'beings'(Mother/Father-Queen/King) clearly depicted with height and regalia. As Bob Dean and others of disclosure have said, this is a managed world environment. There is much oversight, even though we don't generally know it.
Like the Phi-ray(fi.re) and the phi cycles, it is poured downward and is depicted from the 'vessel'(singular depicted) like 'energy' or 'electricity'. Not a 'bolt' but a cascade 'arcing'or 'arching' down over the basic 'man'.
The Divine current, known in the many human spiritual paths, 'descends'.
Wonder why in the lore of the Great Circuit(Taoist etc), the current turns at the perineum and ascends ...to the 'crown'? hmmmmm
The power of the arch(arc) lies in the premise of the Grail Cup.
The phi sign(sine) traces that cup.
Take the Chalice of Antioch as a visual example... and rotate it upside down.
The cover of the very old book Sword, doesn't really seem to be trying to even fake the hieroglyphs. They are just suggestive in their basic appearance.(Maybe to imply just how old the knowledge is and from whence or where it came).
As Sitchen and others have shown, it may be read quite literally, and the scale of sizes is in fact relevant as much as the 'positioning' of figures.
I think it is a cover communicating the spiritual Hierarchy(higher arc e)...and the cascading flow of the Divine Fire(phi ray) nourishing the growth of the 'children' . The Source One God Being they all serve, is of course not depictable.
P.S. most curious: no matter how I save or lock or adjust info, the chalice picture would not load to Blogger, 'upside down', to make the point. hmmm
..anybody for some Hoaglandesque 'hyperdimensional physics'? lol
