Lineage...

When to throw the yoke.
I mean really.
I have been thinking about, well …a lot of things. Primarily about my responsibilities, and trust me, those are many. Beyond the youth of my wilds consisting of kicking ass, taking names, and teaching others of my ilk to do the same in kind - then the separation of governance. The loneliness of position and status. The self reliance of a lion in the face of impossible odds. The ability to form ones own pride. The distinction and honor of name.

The original Enterprise was born Canadian as a small, fast moving, hard hitting sloop of timber and sail in St. John, Quebec, with the distasteful name of George …

… on 18 May 1775 Colonel Benedict Arnold took Liberty on the Richelieu river and with a surprise attack captured the Enterprise (still named George at that moment) and took her as his prize. She was a green ship, just having been built that same year. His log book entry on the matter of the attack is quite exciting:

"My last was on the 14th instant by Mr. Romans via New Haven. I then acquainted you of the occasion of delay in not carrying your orders into execution. The afternoon of the same day being joined by Capts. Brown and Oswald with 50 men enlisted on the road they having taken possession of a small schooner at Skeenesborough, we immediately proceeded on our way to St. Johns and at 8 O'clock P.M. on the 17th instant arrived within 30 miles of St. Johns. The weather proving calm, we manned out two small batteau with 35 men and the next morning at 7 O'clock arrived at St. Johns, surprised and took a sergeant and his party of 12 men, the King's sloop of about 70 tons with 2 brass 6 pounders and 7 men without any loss on either side.... We took such stores on board as were valuable and the wind proving favorable in two hours after our arrival weighed anchor for this place with the sloop and 4 of the King's batteau having destroyed 5 others, so that there is not left a single batteau for the King's troops, Canadians or Indians to cross the Lake if they have any such intention.... We are masters of the Lake and of that I make no doubt as I am determined to arm the sloop and schooner immediately"

From there the sloop Enterprise was given twelve guns, ten swivels, 50 men, slapped on the ass and put to war against the British in Lake Champlain, not the Atlantic. This was a incredibly strategic waterway during the revolutionary war as it effectively split what is now the borders of New York and Vermont. This inland lake that is connected to all the other great lakes and waterways leading out to the Atlantic was absolutely vital to the colonists. If this lake was lost, the British would cut the colonies in half, surround … isolate them … eventually prevail.
While the Enterprise played her part in maintaining control over Lake Champlain, there was much controversy over both who would command her and who would sail her.  Perhaps rightfully so, and as such things happen the fighting spirit of the ship prevailed during the Battle of Valcour island.
The Enterprise and her fleet, numbering fifth-teen, spotted the British fleet numbering forty-five ships - they where out gunned in weight of shot, guns and ships. Benedict Arnold carefully choose his position in a narrow channel, their mission was not survival but to slow the British advance on New York. The Enterprise and her fleet squared off against a British fleet of forty-five on the morning of 11 October 1776.
The Enterprise and her fleet fought their ships all day valiantly, however, buy the nightfall the Colonial fleet had suffered badly. Damaged and sinking the Enterprise and her fleet muffled oars and in the dead of night, through fog, weaved through a gap only a mile wide between British ships and Indian scouts placed on the shore. By morning, she had escaped.

Through horrible cold winds and rain the Enterprise and her remaining fleet struggled on and eventually made it to safety at Ticonderoga. The Enterprise was one of four of the original 15 to survive... There at Ticonderoga she stayed to provide defensive duties. While the losses where heavy it was the greatest strategic naval victory of the entire war. The British had to wait another whole year before attempting an attack on New York, and this led to the victory over British troops at Saratoga almost a year to the date on October 17 - 1777. The Enterprise and her valiant crew snatched freedom from the jaws of defeat.

On a evacuation mission during July of 1777, the Enterprise ran afoul of the British, and to avoid capture - was run aground and burned by her crew. Aside from Benedict Arnold, Ethan Allen, and Jeremiah Halsey are well notables that also commanded her. She was considered the “nucleus” of the fleet and was often the flag ship…

 … …
The Committee of Secret Correspondence of the Continental Congress purchased a small successful privateer schooner on 20 December 1776, named it Enterprise, and set her about harassing the British Atlantic fleet based out of Chesapeake Bay.  Apparently she was decommissioned in Maryland in February of 1777 …
… …

Now, the actual first U.S.S. Enterprise sailed twenty two years latter in December of 1799 and was directed into the southern waters of the Caribbean and based in Basseterre, St Kitts. At that time the Enterprise and crew fought eight French privateers, many of which where larger than herself - that being a twelve gun schooner. The high number of prizes and rate of success’s earned her the nickname “Lucky Little Enterprise”.

So, now the Barbary Pirates are asking for protection money and Thomas Jefferson says the hell with that, the trade route is vital and teh CIC won't be bothered with pirates from Tripoli. The frigates President, Philadelphia, and Essex along with the Enterprise where ordered to the Meditiranan squadron and left June 1, 1801. The Enterprise left Hampton Roads, Virginia, with Lt. Andrew Sterret in command.
Before being given command of the Enterprise for what was certainly going to be a lively cruise, Sterret had already summarily executed two men aboard the U.S.S. Constellation - one for leaving his gun in combat - the other for backing away from boarders. He is quoted as saying “We would put a man to death for even looking pale on this ship” … He got horrible press in the American papers for his actions - and promoted.
On the journey from America to the Mediterranean the Enterprise sailed in formation with the fleet. The larger frigates has more sail to press and made better speed in the winds the fleet was sailing through. Eventually, the fleet commander, frustrated, ordered the Enterprise to make her own way.
Commodore Dale the squadron commander and his staff was flabbergasted to find the Enterprise at anchor when they arrived at Gibraltar on July 1. Sterret and the Enterprise had made adjustments to her trim and found favorable winds appropriate for a schooner - and had arrived five days earlier than the rest of the fleet.

One month after entering the Mediterranean, the Enterprise found its first fight, and fired the first shots of the First Barbary war on 1 Aug, 1801 with the corsair vessel Tripoli
…Sterrett reports it best himself in his letter of report to Commodore Dale:
“I have the honor to inform you, that on the 1 of August, I fell in with a Tripolitan ship of war, called the Tripoli, mounting 14 guns, commanded by Rais Mahomet Rous. An action immediately commenced within pistol shot, which continued three hours incessantly. She then struck her colors. The carnage on board was dreadful; she having 30 men killed and 30 wounded, among the latter was the Captain and first Lieutenant. Her sails, masts and rigging were cut to pieces with 18 shot between wind and water. Shortly after taking possession, her mizzenmast went over the side. Agreeably to your orders, I dismantled her of everything but an old sail and spar. With heartfelt pleasure I add, that the officers and men throughout the vessel [Enterprise], behaved in the most spirited and determined manner, obeying every command with promptitude and alertness. We have not had a man wounded, and we have sustained no material damage in our hull or rigging”
For sharp action in the face of a stronger enemy, President Thomas Jefferson awarded a ceremonial sword to Sterret and gave a extra months pay to the crew.

From there on out the Enterprise and her human element cruised the Mediterranean - specifically the coast of Tripoli, razing hell, burning ships and generally making itself a nuisance to the enemy. One brave action of note was the action with the U.S.S New York in which crew members from both ships stormed a beach head under heavy fire in order to burn a dozen enemy grain ships. The odds where 50 Americans to an estimated one thousand. The crew members who held that action against the enemy are noted to have taken great satisfaction, there faces beaming in the firelight of the burning ships.

The Enterprise’s command was turned over to a Lt. Decatur, and Sterret was offered command of a ship being completed in American shipyards. This all turned  for the worse very soon however when Decatur was promoted ahead of Sterret. Sterret resigned his commission in disgust, latter worked for the merchant marines and later died in Lima, Peru at the rip old age of 29.

Enterprises new commander made good use of his time on this very popular ship. At one point in 1803 during the Barbary Wars the U.S.S. Philadelphia was chasing enemy ships and ran aground a sand bar - thus captured. Decatur was given command of an additional ship, the Intrepid, and was ordered to sneak into the harbor at Tripoli and burn the now captured Philadelphia. A midshipman made this report:
“The sleepy Tripolitans never expected a gang of howling Americans to appear in the midst of a harbor protected by a massive fortress. Many of the Tripolitans simply leaped overboard; others fled below to the orlop deck; the rest were quickly cut down.... Fires were started in every corner of the ship, and the flames began to lick up into the tarred rigging. Decatur was the last man off -- in a flying leap into the rigging of the Intrepid.... When [the Philadelphia] was just under the [Bashaw's] castle, the fire finally reached her magazine and she exploded with an immense thunderclap that reverberated over the town and showered its inhabitants with blazing remnants”

The Enterprise and the Intrepid’s crews received two months extra pay, their commander Decatur was made Captian, the youngest in the American navy at the time. British Naval commander Lord Nelson was quoted as saying on the action: “the most daring feat of the age” …

The Enterprise sailed through the Mediterranean seas making American interests all the way to 1810, well after the end of the Barbary Wars. The now decommissioned Enterprise escaped the auction block due to her popularity as a prize taking ship (which all saliors got a pieace of the prize money) and the fact that the maritme community rallied newspapers to save her.

She sailed again, completely rebuilt and rerigged as a 16 gun brig under the command of Master Commandant Johnston Blakely - one month latter - the stronger, faster, more agil, more experianced U.S.S. Enterprise entered into war with Britian on 18 June 1812...

Stick around for Part Two: The Incredible saga continues …
...and Part Three: If your going to imply an "Enterprise Mission" you better have balls enough to play the part.

Good Blog, I think I get where your going with this.

The use of the term 'an Enterprise Mission' carries with it some powerful history and responsibility to its actual lineage.

So if I may jump a little to grok this, then for one to simply use the term perhaps as a sentiment from a brief sci fi tv show, is hardly acceptable.

Now if one were using the term 'Enterprise' & 'Mission' knowing its potent record, then they had better be man enough to shoulder its legacy in their own adoption.

Are they, or have they? hmmm

Now as to the Love Boat....a show which I really enjoyed in the younger years(Julie-hubba hubba)..I don't get the message...duh?

I don't think this RCH guy even knows the history of the "Enterprise" - he doesn't do his homework - and he takes answers from everybody else's work.

Ok so for all the incarnations of "The Enterprise" Sword reviews in his latest Blog, one could possibly consider that there is now a space equivalent that may be of size not unlike the well known 'carrier'.

That said, some time back I engaged the notion around an ancient premise of 'They who came through the heart of the sun'. The idea of 'Stargates', much more literally.

Ok So Gary Mckinnon saw some stuff in his lurking at NASA's terminals and found a reference to a program back then called "Solar Warden". Even if they changed its name now, the principal might go beyond merely being able to observe natural Solar phenomenon(ie CME's) or watching behind the sun for the debris field and any stray inbound objects.

Here is the latest popping up in our media to see and consider.

Stellar wormholes could link stars with tunnels of phantom matter

http://ca.io9.com/5777715/stellar-wormholes-could-link-together-stars-through-tunnels-of-phantom-matter

A seriously strange new theory says that stars may be connected through a system of stellar wormholes, linking distant pairs of stars thanks to an exotic material known only as phantom matter.

...The idea comes from a team of physicists in the central Asian nation of Kyrgyzstan.

...these theorists suggest a wormhole might well exist that link together pairs of stars. Although this idea probably seems very far-fetched, it's not fundamentally impossible.

This is especially interesting considering Jacob's Ladder and other modern realization's Wayne Herschel has brought forth.

If we have disclosures from the insiders that Humanity has already achieved translight travel, then it would seem more plausible for much more advanced beings to 'jump' through Solar Doorways to get to 'here'.

Lie?
So, let me get this straight...
A vehicle at a standstill, the shuttle, kicks in its rockets - and in a drag race against gravity from SEA LEVEL to finally claim victory through the use of raw acceleration power ... completely fits your physics model.

However ...
The idea that a shuttle, encapsulated into a sabot, fitted into a very long tube, gains momentum, and then as it leaves the earth at one of its HIGHEST POINTS achieves victory over gravity through the use of pressure and gradual acceleration over distance ... does not fit your physics model.
In fact you claim that is a lie.

Physics dose not lie.

Imagine a quarter mile drag strip.
Our drag strip has a starting line called sea level gravity well and a finish line called orbit.
At the starting line your NASA civilian bus (shuttle). On the right, well, there's a large tube covering the lane - and it almost goes all the way down the drag strip twords orbit, way off behind the starting line off goes the tube so far you cant see the end.

One needs massive amounts of power to escape the gravity well because its sitting at a standstill - the other does not.

One has to "open the four barrel" with as much gas[its own weight] as possible in order to escape the gravity well carrying any amount of cargo...
...the other deals with potential and pressure, its does not need to carry its own fuel to escape a gravity well - thus - can carry cargo MANY times over the actual craft weight instead of reverse.

I can go on forever...
...remember - only YOU can prevent wild DUMB!

It is an interesting start to the story of the Enterprise. Thanks for bringing it to light.

We are North America, and being your brethren next door, it was heart warming to see that the original ship came from Canada.
("The original Enterprise was born Canadian as a small, fast moving, hard hitting sloop of timber and sail in St. John, Quebec,")

It's nice,... where amongst the MIL people we are in unity and cooperative beyond just NORAD, meanwhile in business and media, the feed is sometimes excessively Americana rah rah.

The guys on the inside know that even back in the day it was the approx 33 engineers from A.V.Roe Canada (ala AVRO), that helped get the Apollo(NASA) program up and flying and some notables were key in the Shuttle's beginnings.

My final remark re: your Blog post is not intended to be a nationalistic premise. Being in a country up here where they let nothing out whatsoever in terms of 'disclosure', it is nice to see an early example where we have cooperated and work together. No fanfare, no flags. Now one could thus get a sense from your earlier disclosures that perhaps we have shared more at those higher levels above the public NASA or basic MIL like NORAD.

So???? What Enterprise came next?

IonTruO2 said...

Hello? testing testing..is this on?

Ok 'OT', from the early Enterprise to ships in space as big as a Navy Air Craft Carrier(according to Sword here), I wondered many times, how this might validate itself publicly. A few little examples have popped up pointing to that scale of space craft, but this latest story is certainly a very good one.

Retired Air Force Major Predicts UFO Sightings at Royal Wedding
..and that is AOL News.

Filer says the prince(Prince Philip) also revealed that his interest in UFOs was more than just concerns of national security -- it was personal.

"I asked him(Prince Philip) why he was so interested in UFOs and he explained that his uncle, the Earl Mountbatten, had seen them up close," Filer said.

Even though the meeting took place during the Cold War, Filer discounts the underlying possibility that the UFOs seen during the period were actually Soviet craft.

"That was always a possibility, but it seemed unlikely since these craft were bigger than expected -- it's like an aircraft carrier in space," he said.

further: UFO researcher Michael Luckman says Prince Philip's UFO curiosity comes from his uncle, the first Earl of Mountbatten.

"Lord Mountbatten not only had a sighting,
but one of his former employees reportedly claimed they saw a craft on [Mountbatten's] estate," Luckman said.

So, someone landed. Now if Hoagland's clear remarks in the interview at Amsterdam about the breakaway 'civilization' now living 'elsewhere' in the solar system are essentially true, then one has to wonder who are they?
ET's is a simplistic label especially if it is merely (Earth origin) human's who jumped ahead of the rest of the clan down here. If their agenda is indeed to hold us back and not allow us further into space and we seem to be needing badly to try and catchup, then is it merely 'competition for resources' as Hoagland says? If they have torsion field physics and faster than light travel etc, then resources are said to be irrelevant then.

If indeed they are a pretty evil lot, having created a few collossal mass events of murder and disaster here recently, then why is the whole world not totally unified to defend ourselves and purge this Cabal? Really? From Fulford to Hoagland, the appearance seems to be of something very small and mediocre as a response.

I have a larger question of which side of the story M33 Sword sits on, but any rely to this thought thread would be useful. TKS

Now I know, from your earlier disclosures, it appears, you are representing the righteou side of the story, but I would like a clarification as it seems The Secret Space Program is about to go public in a big way and Hoagland is painting it all pretty nefarious and evil right now.

'nefarious', eh. I get that. But I will say that even you have hinted at the readiness for 'break away' or I think the words might have been 'departure'.

I finished listening to the so-called uber-important conference The Secret Space Program. Frankly Richard's presentation left me blandly wondering. Ok Dr. Judy Woods work is pretty awesome and detailed. But what else did he bring to it?

Frankly I keep wondering if the 911 thing had more layers to it. All I'll say here for now is that if it was about 'torsion fields' and the event itself at the towers created it's own torsion field as well, then what was it really about the location?? Same with the famed Pentagon, whose location is said to be a powerful node point of strategic significance in the world grid.

Is this like the premise in 'The Watchmen' whereby, a destructive moment was necessary and a hard choice was made?? So many involved at very high levels to make this charade work??!??

One of the first phrases that flashed through my intuition, was a title to a kooky but famous poem..."Get Up and Bar the Door".

Was this some critical hyperdimensional accupuncture?

Were the people/building really the target?...or was it the location itself...that needed that kind of pulse purification or reinforcement?

IonTruO2 said...

I don't wish to negate the horrible catastrophe. It just seems that for some more profound reason in this time, with doctrine saying the veils(dimensional-etc) are thin at this time of renewal and new cosmological pattern about to unfold, that perhaps holes were being blocked or plugged by these actions.

I don't know just thinking out loud trying to figure a more complex reason for this scale of event(911). It's too simplistic to say it was only about oil or money or wars. Far too big an effort...there must be a bigger picture. Timothy Good certainly seem to point well to a larger scenario in general, that is being delt with.

When 9/11 "hit" ... I was full swing in my "civillian" life. I had just gotten done with my contract with Fuji and had taken a smaller job building a "mom n' pop" phone bank.

All the young'uns on the phones started getting agitated and started telling me and the rest of the management staff that the US was under attack. It didn't take me long to confirm it.

I did 110mph on the way home in a large and in charge Dodge Durango 4x4... which had police flashers installed(completely illegal) as if I was a "undercover" (which my home town has alot of) ...at times I was passed by police and at some intersections was either given a 5/0 salute and wave/drive through or I had to punch it through curbs and put that American beast in the air. Why was I in such a hurry?

My responsibility at home of course...
When I arrived to my home, which was in fact my grandparents home in which I basically had my own home and office attached to, I found my 95+ year old German grandfather perched on the roof with his Sturmgewehr 44 (assault rifle) loaded and armed - gazing at the sky.
He had at some point started a fixed position fox hole in the front yard...

It was about that point that my pager, cell phone, and home phone started to ring off the hook.

The TL/DR of it all is that was the last time I have had voice contact with the platoon.

Final draft written for "The true story"

PS - if 9/11 was conducted by a "weapon" - it was orbital, scalar AND would have needed to be LEO and directly above the site of the attack...

This would be a Eureka!! moment, but they already used that name for the first Trojan they found at Mars.

note: L4 is the leading Lagrange point...L5 is the tailing one. These are the best ones because they are near totally neutral.

"a very deep emotional song, about nazi zombies. from space.

lyrics:

Crusaders of immorality
They live beyond mortality
Everywhere, we see them crawl
They came from space to kill us all

Nazi Zombies from Space
Nazi Zombies from Space

After 60 years they're striking back
Brace yourself for the next attack
We're out of ammo, and of luck
They're flesheating beasts, and evil as fuck

Nazi Zombies from Space
Nazi Zombies from Space

Nothing left to do
Nothing left to try
They come for me and you
Everyone will die

Nazi Zombies from Space
Nazi Zombies from Space
Nazi Zombies from Space
Nazi Zombies from Space"
